North Bay Film Festival takes place annually in beautiful North Bay, Ontario at the historic Capitol Centre Theatre.

This 3 day festival features international, Canadian, and local films along with filmmaker Q&As, receptions, workshops, and industry events. NBFF serves audiences living in and around North Bay. We are dedicated to presenting the best of contemporary cinema, principally highlighting the work of Canadian, Indigenous and Northern Ontarian filmmakers. Our mission is to shine a spotlight on new perspectives, marginalized voices and bold artistic visions.

The North Bay Film Festival returns for its ninth instalment from November 15-17, 2024 at the historic Capitol Centre Theatre in downtown North Bay. This year, we’re excited to announce that we will be opening our Call for Submissions one month earlier than usual on June 1st, 2024, in order to give filmmakers an extended opportunity to showcase their work. Now Hiring a Festival Coordinator for the 2024 North Bay Film Festival!

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Film Festival Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the 2024 North Bay Film Festival. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for film, community engagement, and event management. The 220 hour contract starts in May and runs through the end of November. There will be some outreach work in the spring and summer with most of the work happening September through the end of November
