We are seeking a dynamic and organized Film Festival Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the 2024 North Bay Film Festival. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for film, community engagement, and event management. The 220 hour contract starts in May and runs through the end of November. From November 17-19, 2023, the North Bay Film Festival at the Capitol Centre featured nine feature films and nine juried Canadian shorts, including acclaimed titles like “Anatomy of a Fall” and “Past Lives.” Free for students, the festival opened with “Blue Jean” and “My Animal,” and highlighted Northern Ontario films such as “The Boy in the Woods” and “Blooms.” Festival highlights included director Q&A’s, a Cinema Social event, and the inaugural 48-Hour Film Competition.
