Submissions open for 2023 Film Festival!

The Eighth installment of the North Bay Film Festival will be taking place on November 17-19th at the historic Capitol Centre Theatre in downtown North Bay. We are excited to announce that beginning today, July 15th, 2023, we will be accepting film submissions for Canadian Short Films and Student Short Films via FilmFreeway.

Canadian Shorts:
– Fees: Earlybird – $10CAD | Regular – $20CAD
– Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents of Canada, or graduates of Canadian film programs
– Films 10 mins or less in duration, produced in 2022 or 2023
– Priority consideration will be given to films with closed captioning

Canadian Student Showcase:
– Fees: Earlybird: Free | Regular: Free
– Students currently attending a secondary or post-secondary institution in Canada
– Films 10 mins or less in duration, produced in 2022 or 2023

*All submission fees collected go to paying a jury of northern Ontario filmmakers and artists for their time.
