NORTH BAY FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES $500 FIRST PLACE PRIZE AND NEW SPONSOR FOR 48-HOUR FILM COMPETITION

(North Bay, ON, Thursday, October 25th, 2023) The Near North Mobile Media Lab and North Bay Film Festival are thrilled to reveal an exciting update for its upcoming 48-Hour Film Competition. Thanks to generous sponsorship from Theia Productions, the winning team will now receive a substantial first place prize of $500.

This impressive cash award, made possible by Theia Productions, enhances the competition’s appeal and adds an extra layer of excitement for participants. The festival has also extended the registration deadline to November 2nd, providing filmmakers with more time to secure their spots.
