Announcing the 2017 North Bay Film Festival Award-Winning Films

North Bay Film Festival is very excited to announce the award-winning films from this year’s event!

The Best Short Film award went to ‘Fix and Release,’ directed by Scott Dobson. This compelling short film stood out for its exceptional storytelling and creativity.

The Emerging Student Filmmaker Award was presented to Jason Karman for ‘The Promise.’ This film showcased impressive talent and a promising future in filmmaking.

The Jury Prize for Feature Film was awarded to ‘The Square,’ directed by Ruben Östlund. This thought-provoking film left a significant impact on our judges with its unique narrative and outstanding execution.

‘Kedi,’ directed by Ceyda Torun, received the Jury Prize for Feature Documentary. This captivating documentary captured the hearts of our judges with its beautiful storytelling and engaging content.

Congratulations to all our winners for their remarkable achievements! Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating these talented filmmakers.
