North Bay Film Festival 2023 | November 17-19
48hr Film Competition 2023 Films
Welcome to the Winners Page for the inaugural North Bay Film Festival 48-Hour Film Challenge, held in 2023! Last year, we launched this adrenaline-fueled competition as part of the festival, inviting filmmaking teams—from beginners to pros—to race against the clock to create an original short film. With just 48 hours, participants transformed traditional folktales into fresh, contemporary stories, showcasing their creativity and skills under pressure.
The challenge began with an in-person kickoff event at the Digital Creator Space, setting the tone for an inspiring weekend of filmmaking. The top entries were then screened at the festival, where our audience had the opportunity to vote for their favorite. Congratulations to our winning teams, and thank you to all who joined us in celebrating this exciting new tradition!
