NORTH BAY’S ONLY 48-HOUR FILM COMPETITION ANNOUNCES 2024 DEADLINES AND PRIZES

(North Bay, ON, Thursday, September 19th, 2024) – The Near North Mobile Media Lab and North Bay Film Festival (NBFF) are excited to unveil the prizes for the 2024 48-Hour Film Competition. This year’s competition challenges filmmakers of all ages and skill levels to create a horror-themed film within just 48 hours.

KEY INFO:
Registration Fee: $20 per team
Registration Deadline: October 8th, 2024
Competition Dates: October 18th (launch) to October 20th, 2024 (submission deadline)

🏆 1ST PLACE
• $500 CASH
• $100 screening fee and presentation at the NBFF and on the NBFF website
• $1,000 towards lighting and grip rental at Sunbelt Rentals in Sudbury
• $300 in equipment rental from N2M2L

🏆 2ND PLACE
• $100 screening fee and presentation on the NBFF website
• $200 in equipment rental from N2M2L

🏆 3RD PLACE
• $100 screening fee and presentation on the NBFF website
• $100 in equipment rental from N2M2L

PLUS
• North Bay Film Festival Passes (up to 5 per team)
• N2M2L Memberships (up to 5 per team)
